What even is the patrol division, what do they do?
The Patrol Division is the main division within the Clearcreek Metropolitan Police Department, it is tasked with helping officers and employees who are new to the department and making sure they have everything they need. Patrol Division is also responsible for approving leave of absences, logging patrol logs, and making sure that officers and senior officers are patrolling for the required time. The Patrol Division is also tasked with ensuring that the department is running in an efficient and professional manner.
How do you get into the CMPD patrol division?
In order to get into the patrol division you must be a Corporal+ of any unit. To get to Corporal+ you must obviously be in CMPD, then you must obtain the Senior officer position, then after you have completed all marks on the promotion criteria you get a chance at getting a promotion to corporal.
Rank Structure:
Corporal of any unit - Normal member of Patrol division
Sergeant of any unit - Normal member of Patrol division
Lieutenant of the Patrol division - Deputy Director
Captain of the Patrol division - Director
Major of the Patrol bureau - Overseer of the normal patrol & (if it comes back) the motor unit
